HNC/HND in Healthcare Practice for England
This Higher National Certificate in Healthcare Practice for England is designed to provide you with a broad range of knowledge, understanding and skills required to work in a health and/or social care environment. Such roles include healthcare support and assistant roles in a range of settings, planning and assessment roles as well as roles in public health and health promotion. You will gain a valuable insight into the diversity of roles within the healthcare sector and the importance of collaboration and excellent communication at all levels.
You’ll be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the basic concepts, values and principles of healthcare practice, and the skills necessary to perform effectively in a variety of settings within the health and social care sector.
Entry Requirements:
48 UCAS points (i.e. 2 A Levels grade D)
or
BTEC Level 3 Diploma MP
or
BTEC Extended Diploma PPP
Plus GSCE English Language and Science grade 4/C or above.
Entry Requirements for Direct Entry into HND Year 2: a completed HNC or completed qualifying units that match the programme applied for.
We will require applicants to successfully pass an interview, provide a suitable reference, and complete a DBS check.
