Visual Communication Top-Up
As the new media emerges on a continuous basis, visual communication becomes a significant part in our lives. From the traditional printed brochures to mobile advertising, this huge creative sector of media plays a significant role in understanding and visualising the information.
The BA (Hons) Visual communication course encourages students to explore a wide range of areas such as photojournalism, photography, painting and graphic design. Students will delve into different modules analysing applied communications and technical skills, the history and theory of communications as well as learning how to communicate ideas effectively and have an innovative approach.
They will also analyze particular methods and the reasoning behind choosing them and will create a portfolio of artwork that can span a range of areas such as packaging, infographics, graphic design, web design, moving images or comics.
During their modules, students will be assisted by creative professionals.

Entry Requirements
- The (Top-Up) course is designed for applicants with a Level 5 qualification, such as a Higher National Diploma, or other equivalents, or have completed the second year of a relevant degree.
- Applicants must have a relevant HND or a foundation degree with 240 credits in any Business and/or Management related areas.
- Overseas learners must demonstrate an approved level of proficiency in the use of English language
- Applicants must attend an interview with a member of the admission team
- Applicants must bring the original certificates at the moment of registration
